Turin attractions:

Piazza Castello is shelter of magnificent palaces such as Palazzo Reale (Savoy dynasty royal palace) and Palazzo Madama (currently museum). Palazzo Reale can be visited on guided tours The Piazza is attractive and ideal for a little rest since it features a square bordered with a lot of benches.

Duomo and the Turin Shroud: The shroud can be seen on a large photography. Visitors can also have a look at the cathedral and the ruins of Roman Turin.

Egyptian museum is one of the best collections of Egyptian artefacts outside Cairo. It features reconstructions of burial chambers and a lot of mummies.

Superga is the basilica located on the hill that dominates Turin. The church was built to celebrate the deliverance from the siege. It is also the site of the tragic aeroplane crash that killed the great Torino football team.
